Squitieri & Fearon, LLP is currently investigating the following potential case.  Contact us if you have suffered losses or been harmed by any of the activity described below, or would like to discuss a case not listed.

Pradaxa which is prescribed to many with atrial fibrillation can cause severe internal bleeding.

Squitieri & Fearon, LLP is investigating claims on behalf of people who suffered severe bleeding, including gastrointestinal bleeds and cerebral hemorrhaging, internal bleeding in the brain, intestines and kidneys, as well as heart attacks while taking the blood thinner Pradaxa (Dabigatran Etexilate).  Although all blood thinning drugs can cause internal bleeding, the maker of Pradaxa did not warn patients that there is no reversal agent to stop bleeding as there is with other drugs like Coumadin or Warfarin.  If you or a loved one suffered a bleed while taking Pradaxa, we can discuss your rights with you.  Please contact attorney Stephen J. Fearon, Jr. at stephen@sfclasslaw.com.

The FDA approved Pradax in 2010 and within six months patients were reporting serious bleeding events.  Although there have been more than 4,000 reports of side effects and 542 deaths among users, Boehringer Ingelheim have not issued a recall.  Please contact Stephen J. Fearon, Jr. by e-mail at stephen@sfclasslaw.com or by phone at (212) 421-6492 to get legal help.  You can also complete the following form, and someone from the firm will contact you.
